Mar 04, 2016 I have a user who is having issues with his new Outlook 2016. When we added his profile to Outlook it successfully sync all folders. If he tries to search for specific email he gets a ' No Results' message. I already try adding a new identity. Making sure his identity has no special characters. I also tried following this KB, but is not working. Outlook 2016 for mac search is not working. Have tried reindexing Also the category filter / unread mail is not working. - Choose File | Options | Search
- In the 'Change the Outlook stores indexed by Windows Search', click Indexing Options
- Select Advanced.
- In the Troubleshooting section, select Rebuild.
- Select Close when finished.
- Click OK to close out of options.
